That scratch you run your fingernail over every time you walk past? If the nail doesn't catch, this will fix it.
Door-handle nail marks, trolley kisses, wash swirls, sap etching — most "scratches" people panic about live only in the clear coat. A panel shop will quote you hundreds. Scratch Eraser and ten minutes of elbow grease will handle it for under $30.
How it works
Ultra-fine polishing compounds level the clear coat around the scratch, removing the sharp edges that catch light — so the mark visually disappears and the panel regains its gloss.
- Removes light scratches and swirls in the clear coat, by hand
- Erases scuff transfer from bumpers and door edges
- No machine required — just the cream, a cloth and small circles
- Safe on all paint colours and clear coats
- Finishes glossy, not hazy like harsh cutting compounds
How to use
- Wash and dry the area. Fingernail test: if your nail catches in the scratch, it's too deep for any polish — this fixes surface marks only.
- Apply a small amount to a microfibre applicator and work in circular motions for 1–2 minutes.
- Wipe residue and inspect. Repeat if needed, then protect with Ceramic Shield.

Honest note: deep scratches into the colour coat or primer need professional repair. For everything else, this is your first move.
